When you’re not at the café, where do you like to spend your time—and what does the perfect day off look like for you?

A perfect day off for me is a beach trip! I like to leave first thing to beat the traffic and stop for coffee en route. I generally head up the coast to Noosa because I love how calm the water is, so I can just float around. I have breakfast at the boardwalk cafe, lunch at Surfy for the view, and then always a pistachio gelato and Massimos to finish. If I’m not at the cafe and it’s a sunny day, then chances are I’m passed out on Little Cove…

We know fitness is a big part of your routine. What does your current morning training look like—and is there something you’re working towards right now?

Well, I’ve just taken up tennis! My dad played his entire life but recently broke his leg so his brand-new racket became available… It’s a steep learning curve but I get lessons weekly and play every Sunday with friends! Besides the tennis, I swim every morning at the valley pool before work at 5 am. I shower quickly then race to GHAUS for 6 am open!

What’s the most recent Brisbane spot, event, or experience that really impressed you?

I was extremely impressed by a recent sunset in New Farm Park! I watched it with a picnic rug, some rosè and olives last weekend…

Do you have any upcoming travel plans—or a destination that’s currently on your radar?

I’m going to stay at Il Delfino in Yamba for my birthday this July and then my partner and I are going to Val-d'Isère in December for some skiing! I’m sure several aperols will also be consumed at a bar somewhere on the side of a mountain.
