1. Dinner At 1889 Enoteca
We love it here because:
Vibey old-school Italian in the Roman style where you can sit at the bar and order classic Cacio e Pepe. The kind of place you might find Tony Soprano and his cronies. Naturally it has a killer red wine list.
2. Coffee At Mica Brasserie
Meet by the water first thing for French pastries before hopping on an electric GoBoat. No boat licence needed, don’t worry, and did you know MICA is run by the same people as Montrachet – the crème de la crème of iconic date-night dinner venues?
3. Dinner At Southside
Whatever you do, make sure you order the prawn toast at Southside before heading to the cosy sanctuary of Bar Brutus for a Japanese whiskey.
4. Tennis At New Farm Park
Play a set on what must be the prettiest court in town knowing that one of our long-standing fave breakfast spots is just down the road. Excellent eggs and beautiful coffee and cake. Everything is good here.
5. Dinner At Etna Pizza e Vino
This upscale-yet-approachable pizza joint from the team behind Rosmarino also has small plates, a couple of pasta dishes, a non-pizza main and delectable wine by the glass.
